SiliaBond carbodiimide - synthesis of amides, esters, and activated esters.
SiliaBond DMAP - use analogously to 4-dimethylaminopyridine as a nucleophilic catalyst for acylation, amidation or acetylation.
SiliaBond carbonate - silica bound analogue of tetramethyl ammonium carbonate. Use as a general base to quench a reaction, scavenge acids and excess HOBt in amide coupling reactions.
SiliaBond amine - use as a weak anion exchanger or to scavenge acid chlorides, sulfonyl chlorides, isocyanates and other electrophiles.
SiliaBond Piperazine - deprotecting Fmoc and Bsmoc amino protecting groups and as a solid-phase Knoevenagel catalyst. May also be used to scavenge electrophiles.
SiliaBond carboxylic acid - use as a weak cation exchanger or to scavenge amines or carbonates, and quench alkoxides and organometallic reagents.
SiliaBond tosic acid - use as a strong cation exchanger or as a solid-supported strong acid with a pka <1. Can scavenge amines and other basic functionalities, including weakly basic anilines, borohydrides, and metals such as Ni and Ag. It can also be used as an acid catalyst for organic reactions. Serves as an alternative for quenching reactions instead of aqueous/organic soluble acids.
SiliaBond propylsulfonic acid - use as a strong cation exchanger or to scavenge amines and other basic functionalities.
